The workshop labour rate is £50/hr for the first hour then £22 for any subsequent hours.

MAJOR SERVICE – £150 – £200

• Pick-up and delivery at a time and place that’s convenient for you (Harrogate area – if this is required an additional charge of £10 each way applies)
• I carry out a multi-point inspection for damage, wear, and items that require attention
• I remove the drive train (derailleurs, chain, cassette & crankset) and deep clean in a heated bioremediating parts washer.
• Clean the frame and fork and wax
• I clean and true the wheels and make any necessary adjustments
• Overhaul hubs if needed
• Check rear derailleur hanger alignment
• Reinstall and lubricate the drivetrain
• Replace any cables as needed
• Tune the front and rear derailleurs
• Adjust front and rear brakes
• Adjust the headset, overhaul if needed
• Remove, clean & reinstall seat post with anti-slip compound
• Lubricate pedal threads
• Check & adjust tyre pressures, replace tyres if needed
• Replace bar tape if needed
• Test ride

No additional labour charge to replace any worn drive components, brake pads or inner cables – parts costs are in addition to the above.

REGULAR SERVICE – £50 -£100

• Pick-up and delivery at a time and place that’s convenient for you (Harrogate area – if this is required an additional charge of £10 each way applies)
• I carry out a multi-point inspection for damage, wear, and items that require attention
• I true the wheels and make any necessary adjustments
• Check rear derailleur hanger alignment
• Tune the front and rear derailleurs
• Adjust front and rear brakes
• Adjust the headset
• Remove, clean & reinstall seat post with anti-slip compound
• Lubricate pedal threads
• Check & adjust tyre pressures
• Test ride

If any major parts need replacing then the extra time will be charged at £50/hr.

CUSTOM BUILD PROJECT – £50/hr, it usually takes between 2-4 hrs for a custom bike build.
